This week’s Deals of the Week offer savings on a range of gear and significant discounts from big brands. The savings include deals for both beginners and seasoned players.
Contents – Squier Deals
Squier Sonic Strat HT Arctic White
These Squier Sonic Strat HT Arctic White models are down to €159 from the usual price of €219, saving you 28%.
A Great Starter Guitar
Squier is a great place to start for anyone looking for an affordable electric guitar, and this extra discount makes this model an even better deal. It has a hard tail (HT) and a classic Stratocaster body shape and pickup layout, making it a solid all-round guitar for anyone looking to take up electric guitar this year.
Free Guitar Lessons Bonus
It also includes 3 months of music2me guitar lessons, offered until October 14, which usually cost €57. A great deal for anyone starting their electric guitar journey.
Squier J. Mascis Jazzmaster
Next up is one of my favourite affordable guitars, the Squier J. Mascis Jazzmaster. They are currently 18% off the standard price at Thomann, so you can get one for €529 instead of €649 while the deal lasts.
Beyond Dinosaur Jr
These offset guitars do more than recreate Dinosaur Jr’s lead guitar tones; they are great all-round models, and if you want something beyond a starter guitar, I would highly recommend them.
It is a versatile guitar and has been a rock-solid instrument for many professional musicians who gig with them weekly, so it’s a great buy for anyone looking for a pro-level guitar on a budget.
Squier Sonic Strat MN LH Black
We are often asked for left-handed guitar recommendations for beginners, so this Squier Sonic Strat MN LH Black is a great place to start, with 20% off, down from €219.99 to €177.
This deal also includes 3 months of music2me guitar lessons, offered until October 14, which usually cost €57.
Classic Strat
It has a classic Stratocaster layout with a 6-saddle, vintage-style synchronized tremolo and three single-coil pickups. Perfect for many styles of music, so great for beginners.
Squier Sonic Tele MN Butterscotch
Next up is the Squier Sonic Tele MN Butterscotch, a Telecaster and another great deal, currently 24% off. This model is down to €168 from the usual €219.99, plus 3 months of music2me guitar lessons, making it a great package for new players.
Butterscotch Blonde
This model has a classic Butterscotch Blonde finish, a maple neck, and a pair of single-coil pickups. I do love a Telecaster, and this model is a good place to start if you want a T-style guitar.
Squier CV Bass VI
The Squier CV Bass VI LRL 3TS is part of their Classic Vibe Series and comes in a Three Tone Sunburst finish. I own one myself, and they are great low-tuned instruments and can be heard on many classic records, inclusing songs by the Beatles.
They’re 21% off at €449 instead of €569, so a bargain!
Why a Bass VI?
I love them because they are fantastic for recording and give guitarists a simple way to capture low-tuned riffs. The offset guitar shape is comfortable, and the three pickups with a ‘strangle switch’ give them many tonal variations.
