The RCF EVOX V15 tops off the column range with an earthshaking 15-inch subwoofer and ACE compatibility to extend the low end even further.
All about the RCF EVOX Series:
Although it’s larger and considerably heavier, the V15 is just as easy to set up as the rest of the EVOX family, and the subwoofer’s rugged plywood enclosure, rather than the polypropylene composite enclosures used on the rest of the series, allows deeper low-end with thunderous kicks for electronic music events.
RFC EVOX V15
The V15 is powered by the same 3500W dual-channel Class-D amplification system as the J11, but the low-end reaches down to 35 Hz. The column is also slightly different from the J11, as the V15 uses a 10 x 4-inch driver array (120 x 40-degree coverage) with crossover points at 160 Hz and 1.6 kHz rather than 1.8 kHz. To ensure the voicing is correct for your chosen application, there are four presets.
These modes include linear, a neutral setting, live, a setting for live instruments, club, a profile for DJs, and voice, which is optimized for speech intelligibility. While it’s a heavier rig, this makes it simple to configure the system for specific types of events, and the FiRPHASE technology ensures that there is no timing lag between the different parts of the frequency range.
Meanwhile, the V15 also uses RCF’s Bass Motion Control (BMC) algorithm to maximize the subwoofer’s output without any risk of distortion. This feature bypasses the high-pass filter at moderate levels, while a feed-forward dynamic model kicks in when you push the system to dial back any volatile spikes in the low-end.

In addition, the V15 system can also be expanded with any ACE-compatible subwoofer in the RCF range, extending the low-end response even further. Overall, the V15 is an extremely powerful and versatile system for any event or sound reinforcement application, and is especially useful when you want extra power and convenient setups.

RCF EVOX J9, J11 and JMIX9: 3 New Column Speaker Systems
[22 Jan] The RCF EVOX J9, J11, and JMIX9 are three new additions to the EVOX range of portable column speaker systems for small to medium-sized venues.
Each of the three new systems includes a powerful 12-inch subwoofer, which can be linked to additional SUB AX Series subs with the RCF Advanced Crossover Engine (ACE). This makes the EVOX series scalable to meet the demands of slightly larger events than you’d expect from the average portable column system.

RCF EVOX J9, J11 and JMIX9
The primary difference between the three systems is the column design. While the J9 and JMIX9 have single speaker columns, each with six 3-inch speakers, the J11 uses two segmented columns for a total of 12 speakers in each column array. These 3-inch speakers may be small in stature, but the neodymium driver design centered waveguide provides a point-source response.
Meanwhile, the JMIX9 offers enhanced versatility with the addition of its integrated 8-channel digital mixer with Bluetooth. Here, on channels 1-4, you get XLR combo inputs with 3-band EQ and compression. These channels can also be used in stereo pairs, and there is a reverb send effect and a ducking effect for mics.
Meanwhile, both the main and aux outputs on the mixer have 8-band EQs, giving you extensive shaping capabilities. Naturally, the JMIX9 can be used in mono, but it does have a dedicated XLR output to pair perfectly with the J9 in a stereo configuration. With the mixer’s touchscreen and the accompanying JMixRemote app, you have a convenient way to set up and manage the system throughout the event.
Overall, these new additions to the EVOX series make it a more attractive prospect, with the possibility to scale the system up with a JMIX9, a J9, two J11’s, and additional subwoofers if required. This is particularly interesting for rooftop and small open-air events where you don’t have the rigging for line arrays.
