Nobels has announced the REV-mini, which is due out later this year and is their first mini reverb pedal in their ever-expanding lineup. With stereo functionality and three reverb types in one super compact stompbox.

The Nobels REV-mini offers stereo, spring, hall, and plate reverbs in one compact pedal. It comes with selectable mono or stereo inputs and outputs via TRS. This mini reverb pedal also offers Freeze or Shimmer effects when the main on/off switch is held down, so it manages to pack a lot of features into the small-sized unit.
Reverb Controls
It has controls for Size, Blend, and Tone, along with a three-way mini toggle to select the thre three reverb modes (spring, hall, and plate). All the main controls glow-in-the-dark, which makes it easier to use on dark stages.
This pedal also has true or buffered bypass, selectable via a switch on the back of the unit.
Verdict
The official audio demos on Nobels’ site sound good, and the compact format of this reverb will make it appeal to many musicians, plus it has the added bonus of being stereo. It also runs from a standard 9 V DC power supply, so it is pedalboard-friendly.
If you can wait for the official release in October, then this could be perfect for cramped pedalboards. It also uses the same Mounty-P mounting plates as the rest of their mini pedals, including the MOD-Mini, ODR-mini2, DEL-mini Delay, and the CHO-mini chorus.

The Nobels REV-mini can be ordered from Thomann. They are due out in 11-14 weeks, priced at £86/€99. It is very well priced for such a feature-packed mini-pedal, so it is well worth checking out this year.
