The latest JHS Pedals Wanderer combines their best-selling Morning Glory V4 and NOTAKLÖN into one enclosure. This dual overdrive pedal could be all you need for your core drive tones.
First Thoughts
Josh Scott has just announced the Wanderer dual overdrive, and it contains two of JHS Pedals’ most popular drive circuits, which means it should be pretty decent. The two sides are essentially the Morning Glory V4 and NOTAKLÖN circuits, so it packs two proven circuits.
JHS Wanderer
JHS Pedals latest overdrive packs a lot of useful drive tones into one new dual format overdrive pedal, they have also stated this is the first in a new range of pedals for them.
The two sides are fully fledged, with the Morning Glory V4 on the right side, which is a BluesBreaker-style drive circuit, and the NOTAKLÖN on the left side, which is more of a Klon-style overdrive.

Red Remote
It uses silent soft-touch switching and has a buffered bypass. Key features include top-mounted jacks for each drive section, plus Red Remote jacks on each side. This gives you plenty of control and routing options for both drive circuits. These remote jacks allow the user to foot-switch both gain toggles on each side of the overdrive.
Morning Glory V4 Controls
The Morning Glory V4 side includes controls for Volume, Drive, and Tone, plus a Gain Toggle and a Bright Cut Switch.
NOTAKLÖN Controls
The NOTAKLÖN side has Volume, Gain, and Treble (with 16dB of clean boost), and the JHS Pedals’ Shamrock Mod, which adds +4dB of gain (plus boosted midrange and hard clipping).
Combining these two sides creates a wide range of drive tones. This should let the Wanderer cover a lot of ground. a lot of ground in one pedal.
If you like these two JHS overdrives, the Wanderer could be perfect for you. However, many guitarists may already own both the original pedals if they are fans of JHS stuff.

Availability
The new JHS Pedals Wanderer will be available at Thomann soon and at Sweetwater.
