Just in time for Guitar Summit 2026, Harley Benton is adding another guitar icon to its Tribute Series: the HB-35TL Tesla! We’ll also be taking a look at other new additions to the Semi-Hollowbody Series.

Harley Benton Semi-Hollow
With the Harley Benton HB-35TL, the Tribute Series expands its lineup with a semi-hollow double-cutaway electric guitar in the iconic design. Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters also appreciates the design. And here, too, the components are truly impressive considering the affordable price.
A maple body with an arched top, an okoume sustain block, and a set-in maple neck with a comfortable C-profile contribute to the guitar’s characteristic sound. The neck measures 22 mm at the first fret and widens to 23.5 mm by the twelfth fret. A rosewood fretboard with rounded edges tops the design and makes for a comfortable guitar.
Two Tesla VR-60 Alnico 5 humbuckers deliver the sound, paired with two push/pull volume controls for coil splitting, two tone controls, and a 3-way switch. This allows the HB-35TL to cover everything from a rich humbucker sound to a leaner single-coil twang. The HB-35TL is available in Pelham Blue (also in a left-handed version), Golden Mist, and Burgundy.

Harley Benton HB-35Plus Rotary
The semi-hollowbody range is also expanding: The HB-35Plus Rotary adds a clever extra to the proven HB-35 Plus model.
At its heart is a 6-position rotary switch that progressively filters out frequencies. In addition to a bypass setting in position 1, positions 2 through 6 progressively reduce midrange frequencies. This feature is usually reserved for guitars in significantly higher price ranges.
ISOLA Alnico 5 Humbuckers
They come fitted with perfectly matched ISOLA VT60CR-B and VT60CN-N Alnico 5 humbuckers. Two volume controls with push/pull function for coil splitting, two tone controls, and a classic 3-way switch complete the package.
The HB-35Plus Rotary, the newest member of the Vintage Series, is available in elegant Transparent Black Gloss, Transparent Cherry Gloss, and Vintage Sunburst Gloss finishes here at Thomann. The price is just €289.00, which is an absolute steal
Verdict
These new additions also offer what you’ve come to expect from Harley Benton: incredible value for money. You simply can’t get more guitar for your money. These will make a lot of guitarists happy, offering great styles and a good range of finish options at launch.
