We’ve rounded up the latest news from Guitar Summit 2026. There were plenty of highlights, stars, and surprises to discover again this year. As always, the Gearnews team was on site, mixing in with the crowds. Almost every visitor here seems to have a pick in their back pocket, all in for anything and everything from the guitar world.
Guitar Summit 2026: All the New Gear Spotted on the Show Floor

This year brings another packed lineup of workshops, concerts, and interviews. There’s plenty going on at every level. Greg Koch, Phil Demmel, Martin Miller, Jack Gardiner, Jared James Nichols, Matteo Mancuso, Eric Steckel, Ace Anansie, and plenty more are on site, keeping their endorsements alive. With just a few exceptions, every major manufacturer showed up too, presenting their guitars, basses, amps, and effect pedals. A few surprises caught our eye yesterday. Here’s a rundown of every new piece of gear from Guitar Summit 2026 we hadn’t seen before.
Tone King Royce Preamp Is Coming!
It’s sitting there looking completely unassuming: the Tone King Royce Preamp. With zero advance notice, the manufacturer just showed off a third pedal, following the Imperial Preamp and the Royalist Preamp, built for an amp that doesn’t even officially exist from the company yet. Both products are apparently getting a full official reveal in November 2026 though. The Tone King Royce Preamp delivers top-tier Vox AC30 tones, runs two channels, packs switchable treble boost options, and adds reverb and tremolo on top. The rest of the feature set lines up with the other two preamps.
Hughes & Kettner Puretone 50 Showed at Guitar Summit 2026
Fresh energy is blowing through the amp market out of Germany too. Hughes & Kettner is showing off the Puretone 50, an amp head that can generate some serious punch with a solid 50 watts of tube power, switchable down to 5 watts. Even though the amp can cover plenty of tonal ground, its real strength sits in higher-gain territory. Riff-heavy material comes effortlessly. More details are coming soon.
Cornerstone Gladio MKIII and Nucleo Software
Cornerstone brought two surprises with them this time. Brand new is the Cornerstone Gladio MKIII Double Preamp, delivering genuinely convincing Dumble-style amp tones, running two channels, and packing built-in compressor circuitry.
On top of that, the manufacturer unveiled software for their Nucleo pedal for the very first time. That means you can now bring that epic reverb, the kind that sounds like an empty cooling tower at an abandoned power plant, straight into your computer. BluGuitar Amp X Spotted
So it actually does exist. We can confirm that much. The Amp X from BluGuitar first showed up at NAMM earlier this year, but delivery never quite materialized. Now things finally seem to be moving. Thomas Blug gave the Amp X a proper showcase at Guitar Summit and promised delivery is coming soon. We’re genuinely curious to see how that plays out.
EBS Session 110
The new EBS Session 110 combo caught our attention too. This compact bass amp packs a solid 110 watts and weighs just 11.3 kg. A well-thought-out EQ section and Bluetooth are both on board too. The amp also tilts back conveniently on its own. That leaves you set for pretty much any small session that comes up.
Verdict: A Really Strong Year for Guitar Summit
Between a mystery amp finally getting its preamp sibling, a German high-gain head that means business, Cornerstone doubling down with both hardware and software, BluGuitar’s long-awaited Amp X finally showing signs of life, and a very clever compact bass combo, this year’s Guitar Summit delivered a lot to get excited about. Plenty of these releases are still in the “coming soon” stage, but that’s honestly part of the fun, catching gear in the wild before it’s officially announced.
