Fender has just announced the new limited edition Jim Root Telecaster in Shoreline Gold, taking the signature model and adding something other than white or black!

The Fender Jim Root Telecaster is already a much-respected signature guitar and has some great specifications. Now, for a limited time, it will be available in the Shoreline Gold finish, rather than the usual white or black finish we are accustomed to.
The Slipknot guitarist has had multiple signature models from Fender/Charvel in recent years, but they are normally monochrome at best.
Stripped Back
They have a mahogany body and a 12-inch radius ebony fretboard with no fret markers and 22 jumbo frets. The Modern “C” Shape maple neck has a smooth satin urethane finish.
It comes with a simple 6-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles and a set of locking tuners.
Active Pickups
As per his other models, it comes with a pair of EMG 81 (Bridge), EMG 60 (Neck) active humbuckers, all controlled by a single volume knob and a three-position blade switch. Keeping it simple and just ready for hard riffing and soloing.
