BM-14M

[04 September 2025] The Behringer BM-14M Analog Delay is the latest budget recreation in their Moogerfooger clone series, and adds some new features to the original Moog pedal.

Behringer has announced the BM-14M, a new analog delay pedal that is a recreation of the classic Moog Moogerfooger MF-104M.

The BM-14M utilises Bucket Brigade Delay (BBD) chips to produce warm, analog-style delay with a delay time of up to 800ms. Users can shape their sound with classic delay time and feedback controls and a dedicated switch to choose between a bright, short delay or a longer, darker one.

The pedal also includes a drive control to add grit and character to the signal and a six-waveform LFO section with rate and amount controls for creating rhythmic modulation. A tap tempo footswitch allows for quick, on-the-fly adjustments to both the delay time and LFO rate. Additional knobs control the output level and the dry/wet mix.

Connectivity and Control

The BM-14M offers multiple CV/expression pedal inputs for hands-free control over time, rate, feedback, amount, and mix parameters. This allows for more dynamic and expressive manipulation of the delay. The pedal also features a feedback insert, letting you patch in other effects or outboard gear to shape the delayed signal.

A notable upgrade from the original is the inclusion of a MIDI input, which allows you to control the analog delay from a DAW or another MIDI controller. The pedal also features a spillover mode for smooth transitions when turning the effect on and off, as well as a standard 9V DC input jack.

Boogerfoogers

The Behringer Moogerfooger clones are a great way to access these analog effects, and this delay is the one many people have been waiting for. It follows the recent BM-11M Low Pass Filter, BM-12 Ring Modulator, BM-15M-MURF-BOX, and the BM-13 Phaser.
