With Baby Audio HyperWarp, you have seven different effect algorithms to bend and shape sounds into animated sequences with depth and character.
HyperWarp lets you create sequences with its granular and time-shifting processes using a straightforward user interface that invites creative mistakes and unexpected results.
Baby Audio HyperWarp
Simply insert HyperWarp onto an audio or instrument channel in your DAW, and HyperWarp reduces the input signal to minute grains that can be rearranged using its graphic vector grid editor. To explore different sonic characteristics, you can choose between seven different granular processing modes, each with its own set of four macro controls.
On the XY graph editor, the X axis shows the current position of the unaffected signal, while the Y axis communicates with the HyperWarp engine, letting it know how far back the playback head needs to go over the already captured signal. As you load presets or draw shapes along the timeline, you change the way the chosen algorithm interacts with the audio.
The Clean Warp mode uses temporal processing and gives you vibrato and circuit bending controls, while the Flange Warp mode lets you dive deeper into the modulation and stereo image of the sound, and Degrade Warp adds filtering and a unique Chaos control. In addition, there is a Filter Spam mode with per-grain filtering, the Harmo-Nicer harmonic granular pitch-shifter, the Fauxcoder resonance generator, and the Lo-Fizzly granular downsampler.

The main warp controls are Resolution and Pitch, which work alongside a feedback loop that lets you reprocess the output to create complex, evolving delay effects. With 190 presets and an almost infinite amount of custom shapes you can create on the XY graph, HyperWarp provides a vast scope of sonic potential, while remaining easy to use at the same time.
