About James Hype

James Edward Lee Marsland (born November 26, 1989), known professionally as James Hype, is an English DJ and record producer from Liverpool. He gained recognition for his energetic DJ sets and remixes.


His original material gained significant attention with the 2017 release of "More Than Friends" featuring Kelli-Leigh, which became a hit in the UK and Europe. He is also known for his 2022 single "Ferrari" with Miggy Dela Rosa, which topped charts in several European countries.


James Hype is known for his dynamic mixing style, incorporating elements of house, tech house, and electronica. He has performed at numerous clubs and festivals internationally and is the founder of the Stereohype record label.
